Installation Process
Lasting Impressions in Warrington have developed an innovative new approach to driveways, quick, efficient and guaranteed to provide 100% customer satisfaction. We realise that having a new driveway installed can potentially be a stressful experience, well no more with Lasting Impressions. The entire process is completed within just a few days and we make sure that you are completely at ease every step of the way. Our professional team will always keep you well informed about what is happening and how, as well as answer any questions you may have.
Below is a brief description of the installation process:
1. The first step is the initial consultation where we sit down with you and discuss your requirements and expectations. This also allows you to have any queries answered and get to know your project manager. Being able to feel comfortable and confident with the person in charge of your new driveway is important. We will also establish a mutually convenient day when we can start your driveway installation.
2. We arrive early on the assigned morning and before we begin any work, confirm some details with you. The ground preparation is then begun. This is where we lift, or remove any old brick, concrete slabs etc. and lay a foundation bed of 4” stone. The foundation is important to ensure a long lasting, beautiful driveway.
3. Lasting Impression’s experienced team will lay the concrete in the prepared area, this is followed with the base coat and release powder. The concrete is now ready to be imprinted with the pattern of your choice. We use strong, trade approved rubber mats to introduce and set the pattern.
4. The concrete now requires a period of 24-48 hours to set, after which we return to wash off the release powder and insert the expansion joints.
5. Your driveway is now safe to walk on and enjoy but not ready to be driven on just yet. The new driveway just needs one last step. We return on a day without rain to treat the driveway with a final seal coat. The end result? A beautiful driveway!
